Road Kill

I was so frustrated with my laptop yesterday. I had to download a referral and ONCE AGAIN, it locked up on me. Nick and I have been "discussing" this laptop now for months. He got a new one about 3 months ago and I have been using the one we've had for over 4 years. It is loaded with my pictures, college work so it's priceless - so to speak.

Being the psuedo geek that I am, I never figured out in time that the DSL company had disabled my security on my wireless and now the "black icons" keep coming up to haunt me ever since.

I have been dreading sending it to Texas to have my son-in-law (who is a genius on computers) to fix it. I finally had enough and unplugged it, found bubble wrap and a box (oh imagine that I had just a bit hanging around) and boxed it up. Got immediately into the car and took it to town to the pack and ship.

Now I love sitting at night, chatting with my hubby and facebookin in front of the TV, but it HAD TO GO. All I told Sarah was if Mike deems it necessary (after saving my "stuff") - take it out into the highway and make it Road Kill!
