Disappointment

Have you ever had your heart set on something and been seriously disappointed because your expectations were too high? Today was that day. When will I ever learn to not expect anything, and when something does happen, be truly glad it did. They always tell you to "make a wish when you blow your candles out" on your birthday cake. No such thing as a wish that ever comes true.
