I have been told several times throughout this adventure I am on to LISTEN to your body. I never imagined waking up Monday with a "slightly running nose" that it would land me in the ER. I just figured it was a normal part of the process. By Monday night we were enroute to Willaimson Hospital to spend 7 hours (3 in waiting room - 4 in ward) to tackle this "slightly running nose."
I like to think of myself as a pretty tough person. I have found that a layer of that toughness has vanished over the last few days. The meer sight of food was appalling and keeping medicine in this body was a real key factor in this battle.
I hear people saying LISTEN to your body - and I have been REAL in tune with it the past 4 days.
It told me to lay down, shut up and LISTEN. I am finally back on my feet, looking for another better day to be still and LISTEN.
