I am such a lover of the mountains, BUT, when it comes to the beach, I have another zone that I go into. Nick calls it my "element". I would have to agree. I get there, set up "shop" and suck in the wind, sand and sun.
We are in Florida for just a few days as it is my Fall break from school and we decided that at least one day was going to the beach. Nick is not usually in favor of the sand, but patrinonizes me anyway. I love to get in my chair, umbrella and blanket, cooler, water, suntan lotion and word search. I love to people watch too. It's awesome just to sit and look at the awesomeness of God in nature (no not people in speedo bathing suits) but the waves which were so loud and brisk.
Got a good tan/burn which added to my tan from riding the motorcycle so I am sure that tonight, I will be hunting down the aloe as it has a bit of a sting from it. It was well worth all the time to drive over there and all the prep. Nothing like it.
But, the beauty of the mountains hmmm, is another element for me too.

It was sooooooo good to see you this past Friday! What a treat and nice way to end my work week. You and Nick looked great and I'm glad you had a nice day soaking in the sun's rays. Wish we could have had more time to catch up and just talk "girl talk"!

Terri, I love it now that you have internet at home, awesome girl. I might get a few comments on my blog from you. Too cool. I miss my girly friends. It's lonely up here in the NGM's. Thanks for the GRANDE tour de O. I wish I worked there so I could enjoy the luxury of it. I could have quite a few good "get my pink slip" kinda days in that building! Oh what fun we could have playing tricks on Gus!
