Computer Networking and FLU

So, who said going to college and being sick were ever in the same sentence? I have been down now 4 days. I am finally able to eat things other than broth but I did not go to work and I am making a mad dash at catching up with my college work while laying in bed.

Thank goodness for technology and laptops. I feel like I have been hit with a baseball bat and then hit again. And wouldn't you know, this week we have a 1000+ word essay due on CABLING! What the heck am I doing in IT work? I think half the nightmares I had while hallucinating during the flu was "what shall I write on how to give a contractor a list of cabling needs for a building project?" Sure, sure thing, call Guito NOW and lets get it over with.

I have no earthly clue and it was due YESTERDAY. I cannot imagine what my grade will come up as when this paper gets submitted, but when I look at the spelling from my last post (when I was in the thick of being sick) I will NO DOUBT FAIL the sucker!

I just have to laugh. I am wondering as my techy friends in Florida are reading this, thinking, oh that would be a breeze.... Yeah, where are your friends when you need them most?

The other thing that gets me up here is there is no "soup waggon!" People live out too far to bring you soup. And I am NOT talking the out-of-a-can soup either, I am talking "warm the cockels of your heart soup". I remember when the OPC crowd would show up on your door step and that was your angel of mercy, ha, here in the mountains, its get your own pants on, get to the dollar store and HOPE THEY HAVE A BATHROOM WHILE YOU ARE THERE.

I've been sick but they can't flush my sense of humor down the toilet!
