GPS Time

I have a new clock, on my new desk, at my new job at work.  You might ask why that is so significant.  It is very significant.  I have now gone back to work after being off of work for a year due to my cancer.  I was all geared up and made it through the day, got ready and left what I thought was 15 minutes after the end of the day.  As I pulled into the apartment complex I looked down at the car clock and realized I had left work about 30 minutes early.  The clock on the phone system at work was WRONG. UGH.

I immediately called my new boss and apologized profusely. That night Nick and I headed to the store and got a new clock for my desk.

My honey decided he would share the story with a few co-workers the next day and the fun began. My cell phone quickly lit up with messages that the "current GPS time was ...".  Throughout the day, I was reminded by anybody and everybody and their mothers uncle of what time it was as well as when it was time to go home.  My sister in GA even text me to say it was time to leave for the day.

It certainly made for a good laugh.  This was a first "time" this has very happened to me in all my years of working!
