We recently upgraded our cell phones so Nick to get one and as always you have to fully charge them the first time around. So I kindly decided to plug his into the power strip next to my nightstand. The next day upon return to retrieve the phone, this is what we found.
The cord had been chewed into 3 complete pieces! I've heard of children teething, but cats! Whimpey had chewed the cord into the 3 parts WHILE the phone was plugged in. She is still alive and we are thinking maybe that is why she is "wired for sound." This cat is the most skiddish cat we have ever seen. She will wait outside the bathroom door till you fill her bowl with food and you walk out till she will go in, she is that afraid.
Can you imagine the jolt she must have gotten once but possibly twice chewing the cord completely through? I would have liked to have been a fly on the wall. Knowing Renniger (my ragdoll cat), he probably stood there egging her on - saying,"go for it, they won't care".
Fortunately our cell phones are exactly alike and the chargers are interchangeable, or Nick would have had more than just a laugh on this one.

chewing cats...that is so funny! Arent they just a riot with all their personal personalities. I love it. Mike Rowe is a little frisky bit but he had not chewed a cord yet....thankfull! xoxo
