Everyday I am waiting for the phone call that baby Leah has been born. This is grandchild number 10 and she is due in about 2 weeks. I don't believe she will go to term as this is number 4 for our oldest daughter. I am so excited I could spit!
I love babies and love to see how my oldest daughters babies come out considering she is a blonde hair blue eyes and her husband Brian is dark brown hair and brown eyes. Hunter was a true combination of them both with him having white blonde hair just as Natalie had when she was a little one and yet he has the brown eyes like his dad along with the curls like his dad had. Natalie of course had poker straight hair.
As a gramma, I don't care what color the hair or eyes are, just that she will be healthy and the birth will go smoothly. Natalie has her babies at home so that makes it even more interesting and tense knowing it's not surrounded by doctors and nurses.
I look forward to being able to smell this new baby and love on her. We have a big Christmas stocking and I told Grampa, we are gonna put baby Leah in it and she is the best gift we could have this Christmas!
